People often take love for granted. Cheating on and lying to the man/woman they claim to "love" but love is shared between two and isn't a three way triangle. Eventually one or both will run and you will be left with 'Just You'

Had two.
Had him.
Had you.
Had comfort when hurt.
Had cleanliness when pushed into dirt.
Had two.
When fighting with him had you.
Gone now him.
Have now only you.
Have no we.
No us.
No two.
No me-no him.
Just you.

  1. What's the meaning behind this beautiful poem it's feels like it got a lot of weight to it with profound sadness, this poem is a blessing in its own right.

  2. Thank you so much for the compliment. To answer your question, the poem has two layers of meaning. The first being about cheating and then later regretting it and the second being about an internal battle between the negative inner voice (ie. depression) and the image that stares back at you in the mirror but you choose not to believe.

  3. You need to fix the cleanliness one since i don't understand how you can be clean and dirty at the same time.

  4. Ah I see, but non the less it's a beautiful poem. Never trust a cheater with your life they will gamble it away like it's water no matter how clean or dirty if it means they have to hurt in the worse way then they shall just watch your back and again what a lovely poem.

    1. The cleanliness is a metaphor for confidence

    2. Confidence is such a strong word, before you can be confident you need to show that you're resilient and willing to push forward before you speak of confidences miss

    3. I agree with you but confidence is often a facade and its wall can be knocked down quite easily anyway the poem reflects that in the second layer. Thank you for your constructive criticism it is much appreciated
